North Columbus Friends Meeting
has Meeting for Worship each Sunday at 10:30 A.M. There is singing from 10:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M*.
We rise from Meeting for Worship between 11:45 am and Noon.
The second Sunday
of the month Meeting for Worship is followed by a Business meeting. Business meeting is conducted by process
resembling consensus and all who are either members or who attend Meeting are welcome to attend. Business
Meeting usually does not last any longer than two hours.
The
third Sunday of the month following Meeting for Worship, we have a community potluck meal. This is also
the Sunday that members and attenders remember to bring a food item (canned goods, etc) to supply the food pantry at Neighborhood
Services.
The fourth Sunday of the month prior to
Meeting for Worship, at 9:00 a.m., light breakfast is served followed by adult discussion group. The topics
for discussion are published in the newsletter and a selected reading is provided to stimulate discussion.
* Anyone wishing to skip singing may wait in the Library or Kitchen of the Meeting House
or plan on arriving at 10:45 A. M.
